Privacy Policy
HoldForMe helps you monitor supported vendor phone lines and optionally connect your phone when you ask us to. We only collect and use the information needed to run that service, prevent abuse, and understand whether the call flow worked.
What we collect
We may collect your ConsentKeys account identifier, verified phone number, supported vendor selections, call status metadata, webhook events from Twilio, and notes or observations recorded during call handling. We do not need your banking credentials or private account secrets to place these support calls.
How we use data
We use this data to place and track calls you requested, enforce one-call-at-a-time safeguards, investigate failures, improve supported vendor flows, and maintain legal and security records tied to the call lifecycle.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to operate the product, such as Twilio for telephony and Supabase for application storage. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep operational records only as long as needed for product operation, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. We may delete or redact stale call records, observations, and security logs when they are no longer needed.
Analytics
We use self-hosted PostHog analytics through logs.petrichorlabs.ca to understand which onboarding, callback-number, and call-request flows work, where people drop off, and which product changes improve reliability. We use this only for internal product improvement, not for advertising.
ConsentKeys identity handling
If HoldForMe ever changes identity providers, if ConsentKeys changes providers, or if the company is sold or otherwise changes control, ConsentKeys must not reveal your real identity by default. Any loss of anonymity must require a separate warning and you must manually type I consent before that change takes effect. A checkbox or implied consent is not enough.
Contact
If you have a privacy question or data request, contact HoldForMe through the support contact listed on the live product site.
